Whether you have realized it or not, silently many companies are trying to build on a new system for reliable and more efficient storage.
Drop this idea if you're looking for a penny wise idea. Definately this is not one. You gotta spend ten times more, to get 10 times of speed and everything that a storage specialist has been looking for.
Natively SATA is slow and solid state devices like flash memory chips are not.
But, that aint the only reason why companies are adapting towards this.
